As a result of a very long process - that has grown to full maturity in the course of the last two centuries and a half - the West has come to reject any idea of Sacred Truth, often under cover of “simply” restraining it within the ghetto of a cultural underworld to which it is polite to pay formal homage in words...while the actions keep being led and driven by the deep despair of an absolute nihilism proud of itself and of its own worldly “prudence”.
Without the Truth of the Tradition that has spoken to the humans since they exist, without the Wisdom Who inspires the Joy, the Awe, the Wonder in the contemplation of the Mystery, the West today is trapped inside ideology. Baseless opinions, poor crumbles of “scientific” pseudo-thought, impoverished historical and philosophical notions are the ingredients of the ideology that is at the helm of culture and of society, of politics and of every decision-making process.
From inside this ideological horizon it is impossible to comprehend the true folly of ideology itself and, more importantly, the full range of the insane power that specific ideologies can assume: today great dangers threaten Freedom, dangers that are both inside the West and outside, but the West remains unable to see and understand these threats and is unable to evaluate their true gravity.
Before WW II this process was not yet complete and nihilism had not yet infiltrated and conquered every field of the cultural life and every channel of the mass-media of the West, hence it has been possible for the West to lead the world in crushing the nazi, fascist, and Japanese-supremacist worldwide attack against Freedom.
Today, the Twin Towers of New York burn as London burned in 1940 but the West, under attack from outside and from inside, cannot recollect its true values.
A little more than two centuries ago, the Declaration of Independence still had the spiritual Power to acknowledge that Freedom is rooted in the Sacred Truth (“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”).
Not much time before that, the western philosopher and scientist Leibniz could still say that at the center of every possible truthful thinking is the question: “Why is there something, instead of nothing ?”. In that question still resounded the THAYMAZEIN, the Wondering, that the Greeks called the root of every philosophy, the Astonishment, the Awe in front of the Presence of the presence: the Wonder, the Astonishment, the Awe for being in the Being…
All that must of course disappear for the nihilist kapos who want us to think, feel and believe that there is nothing to wonder about, no marvel, no THAYMAZEIN. No philosophy, no Truth.
And no Being of course, only the great almighty nothing.
The nihilist attack against Truth and Tradition ends up in total irrationalism and blind faith, it ends up in constituting a true cult, the cult of the nothing, that wants to impose the faith that nothing produced everything, that sheer nothing produced the universe and Life. The sophistries with which the cultists of the nothing try to hide this blind faith (by pushing back the Big Bang to a “quantum void”…which in turn is supposed to have come out of nothing again or “be a nothing” itself - and this last sentence far from being a paradox is just a contradiction) are useless: in the end they support the irrational idea that the absolute nothing has originated something.
This deep irrationalism of course destroys both our society and our ability to understand the phenomena outside the Free World.
Inside the Free World, the language itself, disconnected from its foundation in the Truth, is set upside-down: the appeasement of totalitarian dictators and ideas is presented as “pacifism” and “dialogue”, the legal use of force to quench deadly threats against Freedom is called “violence”. At a political level, the Left falls victim to a fanatical marxist minority able to maneuver with sharp leninist tactics, the Right forgets the stewardship spirit that is the soul of the capitalistic revolution and falls victim to a torpor that has forgotten any sense of duty.
The Foundation of Truth in the Sacred Tradition having been forgotten, Freedom becomes a tool used to destroy Freedom itself.
Infants are murdered under the law for late term abortion, while Citizen’s Right are conferred to bloody terrorists. At a cultural level, nihilism has succeeded in making of its anti-values the “new common sense”. And extending its reach to every mind, nihilism has caused whole Denominations to fall into the ideological traps of anthropocentrism, historicism and materialism and caused others to look for shelter in a cultural blindness so deep that now they even ignore the fact that they are rejecting the Tradition. Universities have been reduced to mass re-education camps where demented demons teach that “there is no Truth”, while in the society at large literalists of every kind - with their lack of Vision - attack the Symbols of the Tradition, reducing the Sacred Truth to a new spiritual materialism.
And nihilists try every day to offend, shame, and slight even the Warriors who heroically defend the West from the hashshashins in far provinces of the world or in the streets of our cities. Every day powerful conspiracies are being woven against our Troops and Law Enforcement Officers in the media, in Congress, in the training camps of subversion (aka universities), and in the propaganda industry (aka Hollywood).
Outside the Free World, sects of super-modern nihilist fanatics reduce the idea of God - the Infinite Being Who Is Infinite Love – to an empty name to be evoked as a bloody idol to whom they dedicate the blood sacrifices that our media and our ideology-drunk politicians call “terrorism” and that amount today to a full-scale world war against Freedom. These super-modern nihilist fanatics delight in murder: they delight - as the demons always did - in building the kingdom of “the assassin forever”.
Marking the lowest point in the history of nihilism, murder is now proclaimed a way to paradise.
And while the tools of the subversive propaganda in the West yell at the alleged “western imperialism”, the murderous fanatics carry out their attacks in the four corners of the world and openly discuss their plans to build a new evil empire (this time named a “caliphate”) on the ruins of the Free World.
But no horror and no tragedy can tear down the wall of blindness created by nihilism, and no Truth is allowed to speak.
Nihilism reigns. Miserably, but it reigns.
Nihilism reigns as rejection of the Sacred Truth, reigns as mother of all ideologies, reigns in the dictatorship of the ideological way of pseudo-thinking, the pseudo-thinking that begins from the “things of the world” instead of beginning from the Sacred Truth.
The pseudo-culture that “asks” the how and the why of every single thing - but forbids to ask the why of everything, of life, of the Universe, of the existence of human beings - dominates the minds with an iron grip.
The true culture, the true thought - that proceeds by going permanently BACK to the Center of the Sacred Truth, in the spiral Way of the infinite Vision - seems today destined to a silence that is not the smiling Silence of the Great Answer, not the immense and roaring Silence of Wisdom, but is the monstrous silence of the shtetels devastated by the nazi beast, the silence of the Hasidim’s chants and dances mowed down by the blitzkrieg from hell.
Will we allow this kind of silence ?

Any voice and Doctrine coming under any historical and worldly label, Jewish, Pagan, Hindu, Buddhist, or from the next Enlightened Person - as long as it is able to subvert the subversion - will be welcome, and will be reason for a good party and a serious discussion.
