In the Infinite AION without time, the Infinite Holy, by Infinite Love, opens the possibility of existence of  free  finite beings, beings who have not been and will not be abandoned because at the heart of all reality they can find the Way of the Infinite Holy Who Is Infinite Love.

Hints, traces, symbols, Angels, messages, awe, beauty, wonder, ecstasy, intellect surround and guide us. The Kingdom is always near, because the Kingdom of the Infinite Holy, of the Infinite Love of God, of Infinite Life Eternal is the heart of all reality.

"Why can't God walk with us ?"
God does walk with us. By creating a finite world God chooses to preeminently suffer all our sorrows and all the horrors consequent to human evil (and we understand how much we have been brainwashed under the yoke of nihilism when we realize that we have difficulties to understand this basic concept despite its representation in countless crucifixes around us  !)

But, can we see the Infinite Love ? Can we at least understand the words that speak about  the Infinite Depth of the Infinite Holy ? Can we understand and feel the Infinite ErosLogos  ( "Intelletto d'Amore", "Intellect of Love",  is the translation that Dante hid in his poetry) ?
We "can", but only if we are  thinking about the absolute AWE, ASTONISHMENT, and WONDER of our BEING here. If our minds and hearts are dedicated to distraction, we will not be able to properly be what we already are, God's children.
And not only the Priest, not only the Shaman, can stay focused on the Truth: if properly practiced, all the crafts, from the way of the Warrior down, can focus our heart and mind on the Wonder, and all true arts move in circles around Awe.
Distraction from the Truth of the AWE of the Being is in the individual life what the ugly pseudo-art of the age of nihilism is in the life of the society...a missed occasion.

"In the Infinite AION without time, the Infinite Holy, by Infinite Love, opens the possibility of existence of  free finite beings "  : it's us ! That sentence speaks about  our being here ! and it reminds us of the immensely powerful attack of a symphony of Wonder and Love on which we should be focused at all times, whatever our occupations may be. Such celestial music should melt our heart and our mind and push us into a life of love and compassion, and joy and Vision, and strength ("strength" is the word that translates Bodhi, Enlightenment, Spiritual Awakening, teaches us His Holiness  the Gyalwang Drukpa  : strength in doing what is good for our fellow beings, i.e., again: love and compassion.)
Against such focusing,  the  pseudo-civilization of nihilism has built a barrage, with its artillery of "entertainment" cleverly forged to infect the individual with an addiction to idiocy and vulgarity.  And the senses, precious channels of communication that can be fine-tuned to the subtlety of permanent ecstasy, are numbed by a fake hedonism whose spirit lives no longer in the Awe of the deep Wonder and dies instead in the compulsive repetition of shallow neuroses. The individual has seen and lived "all and everything"...but in truth has lived nothing because the door to the Wondrous Light has been shut  and the individual is prisoner in a tomb of selfishness in which the person is transformed into a living dead  who endlessly reiterates materialistic rituals.
"Culture" itself is reduced, in the dark age of mature nihilism, to the repetition of the "known" : thought and reflection about thousands of years of knowledge and wisdom are substituted by fashionable "trends" and by unlimited variations on the limited pseudo-thoughts of scientism.

To get out of such prison we must fight the battle to reach a renewed awareness of existence itself, a renewed awareness of the Wonder of the Creation, a renewed awareness of the Being of all that is. ( To reach a renewed awareness means to reach a CHANGE OF MIND, that in Greek is called METANOIA,  the word of the Gospel that is routinely translated with  "repent ! ".)

A long battle or  a battle that can be won in an instant ? It depends from the point of view.
The ancient advice is "festina lente", "be slowly in a hurry". The paradox is appropriate, since a "para-dox" is what goes beyond (para) the opinion (doxa), towards the Truth.
The Light surrounds us and waits for us, we have just to open the door.
The pseudo-civilization of nihilism thinks of itself that it is the bolt. Laugh at it, go beyond.
The door "itself" will help:
"Christus janua vera", "Christ True Door", is written on the doors of the Cathedral of St. Denis...

Knots and Jigs...

In the article about ART published here some days ago you can read

    "The Artist has the CAPACITY of receiving  the Vision that melts the "trinity from hell"     ("things", "matter", "facts") and of transmitting to others the feeling-knowledge of the     FIRST MORNING OF THE CREATION, the Now of the Aion, the Eternal "

This of course is true of all Art, but the arts of some -  and actually of many  - national traditions have focused with more attention on the explicit symbolism to the Now of the Aion, the Eternal, the whole of reality as Genesis and Revelation.

(Note : you will need to do your homework and carefully search the archives of this blog for an explanation, in the articles about Tradition and Symbolism, of the expression "symbolism TO..." that I have used in this last sentence. Bon voyage !)

The symbolism to the Now of the Aion focuses on the present as absolved from the apparent "fall" of its inexorable becoming the past of a future: here the chains of fate (typical of all forms of nihilism) are loosened and the present is transformed into the Present of the Creation,  a Destiny where Freedom is lived with Joy: such Present doesn't run away but moves in wondrous circles, spiraling in depth and involving us in charms.
"We can't actually and materially "stop" the present ! " will now yell the nihilist, in skeptic's disguise...but such, and similar, calls to "reality" ask from us to renounce the dignity of our Reason and pretend that we look at the "real" and see only "things", renouncing thought and reflection: Art instead evokes the true reality, i.e. the Almighty Love of God Who creates the world in an Eternal (i.e., free from space and time) Now. The Tradition says that  this is the only "real" and the traditional Art is able to dispel the snares of despair, the ignorant fables of the nothing, and can truly CALL us to the Vision, call us to see the Truth that is so near to us that we usually disregard it...

You hear it ? it doesn't run away ! It is artificially interrupted, just before the music starts absorbing the whole known universe into Absolute Beauty.
The harmony runs from itself to itself, in a virtuous circle, in a composition of circles...in a Celtic knot !


  


That music and this knot come from the same tradition and they point to the same traditional Teaching:  they address us to the Present of Wonder, they focus our mind away from the ghost invented by nihilism, the present that is "nothing" because it is supposed to be just passing by, away from the fake present that is woven by the irrational belief that what is... is not ( and by the even more irrational belief that "what is" can be explained from the bottom up, forgetting the Origin, the Cause, the Being who gives being to every"thing".)

After the nihilist conquest of the world, the words, the music, and the images of the Artists were declared  "meaningless" by attributing "art" to the individual ego, exactly in the same way that the Vision was declared "psychopathology". But the Light that is in the human beings still recognizes the call of the Truth and rejoices in it, and still some Artists who know that they are led by their Art do exist. And the Vision always talks, to those who want to hear.

"Multiculturalism", invented by the subversives to debase the Western Tradition,  turns against the subversives and reveals that all the traditions of all the peoples carry the same universal message, in infinite symphonic variations of the same Truth, of the same Tradition...

   


That's a Tibetan "endless knot"   (Skt. shrivatsa; Tib. dpal be'u): the Infinite Compassion and the Infinite Wisdom weave (Tantra, Sanskrit: तन्त्र;  "to weave") all the real, in Buddhist  terms. Like the Eros-Logos of the Greek, and like the Wisdom and the Love of God of the Jews, and then of the Christians...
The same symbol to the same  Now , the Now of the Aion, the Eternal Who Creates this split second.

The Art of Life survives even in these dark days in which the hordes of the orcs celebrate delusional triumphs in their evil works of death. Let them roll in their evil.
Listen again to the Gael, Eluana is listening with us. The murderers only "think" (pseudo-think, anyway) that they can destroy Life, but they can't, they can only show their evil intention.
The Love of God protects Life, forever.
