From the comprehension of the immensity of the Love of God come the respect, the compassion and the love for every human being and for all beings. From the understanding that God asks us to live a decent life comes the effort to reach perfection. From the wonder at the Glory of the Creation and from the shame caused by the horrors committed by the human beings comes the desire to uphold deep moral values.
Love, respect, striving for perfection, defense of moral values.
Without these, life is a trap: the human being stops growing and cannot expand to his/her full potential.
The trap is prepared and carefully set by those who preach the blind faith of nihilism, the blind faith in the nothing, by those who preach that the world and life came from nothing, those who preach that the sheer nothing can produce the being of all that is.
The trap is prepared by those who replace thought and knowledge with irrationalism and ideology.
The era of ideologies began as soon as the pseudo-philosophical perspective that proposed to deny the Divine was introduced :
we can understand this easily if we ask ourselves how ideology should be defined:
IDEOLOGY IS A DESCRIPTION OF REALITY THAT DOES NOT COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENT OF COMPLETENESS IN THE ANALYSIS OF THE PHENOMENON THAT IT TAKES INTO CONSIDERATION, BUT THAT AT THE SAME TIME PRETENDS TO PROPOSE A COMPLETE VISION OF THE WORLD.
Therefore, when the "phenomenon" that we are taking into consideration is the existence of all that exists, it is evident that excluding the Divine from the discourse necessarily plunges us into a deep irrationalism and into faulty analyses. In fact, excluding the Divine from the discourse about the existence of all that is can only mean two things: either we attribute to the sheer nothing the power to become something (which is evidently a self-contradiction) or we just try to hide and deny the problem.
The secularists, who appear to take so much pride in their "rationalism", propose in fact the most sordid obscurantism when they try to hide and fog any discussion about the "Origin" of anything that exists, i.e. the Origin of existence itself.
This deep irrationalism is the basis for all ideologies.
The individual who falls into this intellectual trap loses the Way to the power to grow and to expand to his/her full potential.
The consequences of ideology are terrifying: while from Truth and Principles stem moral actions, from ideology necessarily stem confusion and in the end can stem anything, literally anything, as the XX century, the century of the ideologies, has proved when crime itself has been elevated to a system of government in fascism, nazism, and communism. And the mass murders of September Eleven proved, at the beginning of the new century, that nihilism and ideology have invaded the field of all human cultures: if someone believes that murder is a "religious duty", his "religion" must evidently be the same religion of satan.
Ideology, as a system of excogitations that forget and deny the most fundamental questions and the Truth, necessarily causes every sort of crimes.
The atheists, the nihilists, the ideologists always claim that they can establish a system of morality as valid as any morality stemming from the Truth of God and from the Truth that God Is Infinite Love, but this is not true because at the basis of any ideological system lies an absolute irrationalism, i.e. the denial of the question about the origin of existence itself, and this irrationalism develops inside the ideologies and necessarily grows into an absolute relativism, which in turn entails the IMPOSSIBILITY of any moral value. Sooner or later, the nihilists will justify any crime, any horror...
...and the "right" of the state to murder infants (called "freedom of choice", no less !) has in fact already developed into the "right" of the state to murder terminally ill patients and will possibly develop into the "right" of the state to murder seniors "who are no longer productive"...and our societies resemble more and more the killing fields of the totalitarians of the XX century. But the nihilists assure us that their moral values are sound !!!
The lack of Truth and of reason that is at the root of ideologies necessarily manifests itself in the ideologies' results, i.e., in crimes.
Love, respect, striving for perfection, defense of moral values.
